Breast Imager

Vantage Radiology and Diagnostic Services, a stable, well-respected, physician owned practice in the Seattle metropolitan area, provides services at two ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence.

We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible fellowship trained breast imager for a full time partner-track or 3/4 time partner-track depending on work/lifestyle preferences. The position is approximately 70% breast imaging and 30% general radiology. Qualified candidates must be skilled in all breast imaging studies and procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and needle localization and biopsy. The position includes participation at weekly breast tumor conference. Candidates should be committed to patient focused care, maintaining our healthy work environment and well respected interdisciplinary relationship with our breast surgeons, medical oncologists, pathologists, high risk clinics, and referral base. There are no IR, or night call after midnight requirements. All partners and partner-track associates share general call responsibilities, of which certain evening and weekend shifts may be staffed from a remote home workstation. Night call after midnight is covered by our own internal nighthawk radiologists.

We are a progressive physician owned, private practice of approximately 40 sub-specialized radiologists providing professional services for 2 hospitals and an outpatient breast center and are co-owners of the affiliated imaging centers. We emphasize excellent clinical practice, collegiality, teamwork, close working relationships with our outpatient and hospital-based clinical partners, and quality lifestyle. The group is highly respected by the administration and medical staff at each of the centers and our radiologists have been consistently recognized by their peers as among “Seattle’s Best Doctors.” We offer a competitive salary, 4-day work week, 8 weeks of vacation, CME allowance, memberships to professional societies, profit sharing, malpractice and disability insurance, 401K contributions, and commitment to associate mentorship.

If you are interested in joining a practice that focuses on work/life balance, is located minutes from urban amenities and has easy access to abundant outdoor activities in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, please send your cover letter and CV to recruiting@vrads.com.
