Vanishing Veins Northwest offers a variety of treatments for varicose and spider veins, which are often the cause of leg pain, cosmetic concerns, and leg discomfort.
Non-surgical treatment options include EVLT (Endovenous Laser Ablation Therapy), a laser treatment to alleviate varicose veins; and Sclerotherapy, which injects a sclerosant solution into the affected vein to eliminate spider veins.
These minmally invasive procedures generally last less than an hour and provide the added benefit of short recover time

J Scott Bowen, M.D.
Dr. Bowen attended Brigham Young University and received his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine. He
completed his residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of California - San Diego and his fellowship in
vascular and interventional radiology. His internship was in surgery and completed at the University of Utah. Dr. Bowen
has a Certification of Additional Qualification in interventional radiology issued by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Bowen received his board certification from the American Board of Radiology in 1983. He is also a member of the
Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Western Angiographic and Interventional Society,
and the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional.

Michael R. Nelsen, M.D.
Dr. Nelsen received his medical degree at the University of Washington Medical School. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Nelsen also completed
his interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Washiong Medical Center.
Dr. Nelsen received his board certification from the American Board Radiology in 2000. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Society of Cardiovascular and
Interventional Radiology.

Siddharth A. Padia, M.D.
Dr. Padia received his medical degree at John Hopkins University. He completed his internship in interventional radiology at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Padia specializes in vascular and interventional radiology with focuses on interventional oncology, specifically chemoembolization, radioembolization, and
radiofrequency ablation.
Dr. Padia received his board certification from the American Board Radiology in 2008. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American
Roentgen Ray Society, and Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Padia is also a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Interventional Radiology. He grew up in
New Jersey. His outside interests include travel, hiking, windsurfing, cooking, and reading.

Callie Reger, M.S.N, A.R.N.P., N.P.-C
Ms. Reger grew up in Washington State. She attended Santa Clara University in California where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Ms. Reger earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Seattle University.
Ms. Reger is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing.
