Dr. Scallon attended the University of British Columbia where he received his undergraduate degree and medical degree. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of British Columbia, and his fellowship in mammography at the University of Alabama - Birmingham.

Dr. Scallon received his board certifications from the American Board of Radiology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in June 1999. He is also a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Scallon joined Valley Radiologists in 2000.
