Dr. Chu received his medical degree from the University of British Columbia. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Manitoba Health Sciences Center and St. Boniface Hospital. Dr. Chu is completed his fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Dr. Chu received board certification from American Board of Radiology in 2000. His professional memberships include the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American College of Radiology. Dr. Chu joined Valley Radiologists in 2001.
