Dr. Lund attended Asbury College in Wilmore, KY and received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Virginia Mason Medical Center and his fellowship in pediatric radiology at the University of Washington Children's Hospital. Dr. Lund has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Lund received his board certification from the American Board of Radiology in 1990. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Society of Pediatric Radiology, Washington State Radiology Society, Pacific Northwest Radiological Society, RSNA and the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Lund is a past President of the Washington State Radiology Society and a councilor to the American College of Radiology from Washington State. Prior to joining Valley Radiologists in 1991, Dr. Lund was an acting instructor at the University of Washington.
