Dr. Bauman attended Southern Florida College and received his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency in internal medicine and diagnostic radiology at Brooke Army Medical Center and his fellowship in Nuclear medicine at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. His internship was in internal medicine.

Dr. Bauman received his board certifications from the American Board of Radiology, American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Radiologic Society of North America, and American College of Nuclear Physicians. Dr. Bauman joined Valley Radiologists in 2001.
